Immemorial Diwali is very popular festival among Indian of all over the world. Festival satiate of Hindu mythology is exercise to invoke gods on this pleasing occasion. Diwali also refers to “Lightning festival”. Victory of good is symbolised by Diwali that end the Hindu year. New lunar year starts on the fifth day of Diwali. According to Hindu calendar, Diwali is celebrated on the amavsyaa of kartik month. Various Rituals are performed on this festival including lightning of diyas. People show their happiness by bursting crackers.
It is believed that goddess Lakshmi will visit in well lit and clean home to shower her blessing. Her visit enhances prosperity and wealth to your life. Light indicate the good and darkness to the evil. According to previous tale it is said that on this day god Rama return to his native place after his victory on evil Ravan. To show happiness people lit diyas as there were no lightning system.

It is celebrated for five continuous days and usually falls in October/November month. Special Diwali pooja is performed in unique way. People of other religions are also celebrating this day due to different reasons. On this auspesious day Lakshmi pula, Ganesha pooja and Saraswathi pooja is offered. Lakshmi, godess of wealth is worshiped to overcome the financial crisis. Ganesh, god of obstacles is worshiped so that people will not face any obstacles in their life. Saraswati, Godess of knowledge is also worshiped to gain knowledge and success.
Diwali pooja is very famous. It is believed that your all wishes are fulfilled on this day. All obstacles will be removed if one devotedly performs Diwali pooja. From million year people are following this custom and strongly believe in them. People share sweets and wear new cloths on this day.
Vishvakarma, lord of engineering and architecture is worshiped by workers to gain inspiration and productivity. Vishvakarma pooja terminates in Diwali and indicates the start of festival season. It is usually done on 16 or 17 of September. On this occasion there is custom of flying kites. Vishvakarma pooja takes place in work place premises. This is very important festival for all craftsmen and workers. Vishvakarma has designed and formed various sculptures according to different tales. His creations are mention in different holy books like Bhagvat gita.
Various pooja are offered in Diwali pooja:
• Ganesh pooja is must on Diwali, because lord Ganesha is always worshiped befor doing any important task or ritual. According to ancestor lord Ganesha will remove all obstacles.
• Lakshmi pooja is performed after Ganesh pooja. First offer flower and then sung Lakshmi aarti. A silver coin is worshipped on this day.
• Saraswathi pooja is also performed on Diwali. Godess Saraswati is worshipped mainly by students. So that they get success.
On this day godess kali is also worshipped on some places. Different dishes and sweets are made in home. People also do vashikaran pooja on this day. Due to chantinc of mantra and tantras this day has immense power to boost any kind of occult science. On this day effects of vasikaran pooja enhances to several folds.
